Hey Mike, It's hard to prove the evidence on them and have enough to make it stick. About all you can do is scare them off sometimes until some serious damage occurs unless you have a burn ban. Had a drunk nut coming out our way from town in a old bright yellow pickup one year that you could see for a long ways. He always seemed to be at the next 5 or 6 grass fires we went to. He had the balls to come up and proudly introduce himself to me. I asked sheriff and PD about him and they all said he was suspected of lighting fires. So had DPS come out next time and we all gave him a not so nice talking to and he never came around again lol. You don't want to be seen rubber necking at every fire as those are the suspicous ones we look for ;) lol. Already some little fires here too since the rain & snow so still need to be careful.
