The 961 is both, if you will. Its a low profile row crop (unless converted to wide front...did they ever sell new with a wide front?). The rear end is a 'row crop', that is the centerline of the rear end is above the centerline of the rear wheels. The rear tires are 28's as opposed to 38's on most row crops of the time. There are two items I didn't like about that series of Fords; the five speed pogo stick transmission shift and the placement of the clutch pedal. Didn't like the gear arangement and sometimes forgot where my left foot was during a 'panic' stop...sometimes I day dream a bit. Good things; live pump, semi-live power with the two stage clutch, live remote (on mine with the add on valve), HP was okay for the size. All in all a good utility unit if you're not scared of the narrow front.
