Well Tim it all depends what you're going to do with it. I have a 60 acre horsefarm and use a 1956 MH50, Massey Ferguson. I do everything with it, mow, rake bale, bush hog, finish mow, plow snow, move earth, landscape, haul manure drill post holes and pull old fence posts. I've had it for going on seven years and paid $4000 for it. It has been very dependable and has had nothing go wrong with it that I couldn't fix in the field (which is where many tractor repairs take place). I use my tractor to do most everything and don't know how I could possibly get along without it. I know I couldn't afford one of them new tractors with a cab on it but I sure couldn't not afford to have my MH50.
