Bingo! That never even dawned on me. That's exactly what they were doing with this place for the past 35 years; running the damned cattle on it, except for this past summer when I wouldn't let 'em do it. So, they hayed it. Never even thought of that. No wonder it pulls hard! Thanks Pard! I feel a little better 'bout the whole situation now. (not much but a little) :>) Allan
