Allan, Looks like to me this is one of those situations where you just need to "Hook up early and stay late" You just are not going to run through that short grass, hard packed soil with any speed at all.
I would have run a chiesel plow through it in dirrerent direction at least 3 to 4 times, but that is me. This is your tea party. Your ol'Girl is doing all she can. I say get in 2nd, keep that TA in high.... then Get-after-It!
That ground your are on now, if my memory serves me right hadn't had a plow in it for yrs. This isn't what you wanted to hear. But the good news is from you earlier post ... the rear end is quieting down! And the engine will be broke in too.
You know, you could get a book and read on the long straight pulls! LOL! You are doing a surenough a good job there.

OBTW...Just how deep are you pulling anyway? Look to be about 10 ins or so to me.
permit me one more thing...higher hp tractors will pull with some extra speed, BUT...tend to tear up stuff doing it. so haveing a plow torn all to thunder is not a great alternative either. Be careful outthere Neighbor!
