I misspoke eariler (mistyped?). The Sear's Bradley and the Simplictiy-built Wards both use an aluminum drive pulley. Your machine was made by Simplicity. Wards put their name on some of the Simplicity models. In 1951, the Simplicity (or labeled Wards) Plow-Trac had a 4 horse Wisconsin engine and sold for $279. The earlier 1948 model was rated at 3 horse with a Wisconsin AB engine. In 1958 Simplicity sent out bulletins announcing that their model VA was identical to the Wards Plow-Trac so all parts could be bought from Simplicity if needed. I've got several of them but they are bigger than the former models and have an automotive-type transmission. Some years later, Allis Chalmers started selling Simplicity tractors and put their name on them.
