Hello people, just wondering where is the best place to buy a new or remanufactured starter for a cat 3208 in a white 4-150? When it gets hot it just wants to click, clack, etc. I replaced the solenoid and that was about $150 dollars and it was bad but the tractor still does it. The batteries seem ok as does the alternator. If you let is set for a while it will usually take off again. The motor is running well and is staying cool. Just one of those annoying problems I want to get fixed before it hits the fields in a couple of weeks. I hate something that wont start when you shut it off. Huge pet peeve of mine and probably everybody else too! I have heard maybe Napa has them for a pretty good price. Anybody have to do this that can help? Thanks!
