I dont know about moving it onto the trailer with the pony. That little engine has all it wants to crank the big one. WIth the injectors out or otherwise relived compression it might move on the level, but it would be dicey up a ramp. Chances are the pony will be in worse shape than the main engine, anyway. And if either engine is set up, the above is all out the window anyway. I'd be equipped with a winch or other means to load it just to be sure. If it is in runnable shape it could be worth at least $4 to 5K. If set up or otherwise non-functional, take at least $2 or 3K off that. The parts support is reasonably good, but like the other poster says, they can be pricey. A good restored 830 can run $8 to 10K. just my $0.02.
