Seattle lost because of unbelievably inept coaching and play calling. Why on earth when you are running the ball at will do you try for so many long passes? None of them worked – either the balls were dropped, catches were called back on penalties, or the ball was intercepted. Also, I have never seen such terrible display of 2-minute time management as what Seattle did at the end of the first half and the end of the game. Completely unbelievable. Regarding the referees, the two calls everyone is up in arms about were fine calls: Receivers can not push off a defender to catch a ball, that is clearly what Seattle’s receiver did on the first TD that was called back. It looked to me like Rothlesberg broke “the plain” with the ball before he got popped. Either way it was close enough that it was a reasonable call on the field, and too close to overturn. As a Patriots fan Pittsburgh has given me ample reason to dislike them of the last decade of so. I did not want to see them win.

Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
