I have not owned a Belarus, so I can't speak from experience. I have seen messages from folks who have them and like them, but I always remember the posting in our farm paper a few years ago that read "Belarus Model XXX (I don't remember the model number) for sale, aka Russian Lemon. Frequent repairs and breakdowns. Make offer quick."
