Jim -- The belting is available, but it ain't cheap by any means. The source I found gets $5.25 per linear foot for new 6-inch 3-ply belting, or $7.50 for 4-ply. Doing the math real quick, that comes to $262.50 for 50 feet or $315 for 60 feet of the 3-ply, and $375 for 50 feet or $450 for 60 feet of the 4-ply. Remember, those prices are for 50 or 60 linear feet; once you lace the ends together you'll have a 25- or 30-foot distance from your buzz saw to its power source. And the shipping for a belt that size is bound to be considerable, as well. As I said, it ain't cheap. I did a quick search on eBay and came up with a couple of belts; eBay item #7589089634 is a 6-inch belt that's 45 feet long, and opening bid was 99¢. Item #7588206276 is almost 99 feet long, opening bid is $16. I've had good luck finding 6-inch belting at auctions or farm sales. Good luck -- I hope you find what you need, and at a civilized price. -- Maine Fordson

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
