Noise has two sources. Airborne and structural vibration. The structure vibration is a larger cause than most people think. The cab must be isolated from the tractor. Rubber isolators at all 4 corners. No metal pieces bolted to cab and tractor to transmit vibration. Next is to block off airborne sound. Are there holes in the dash where sound can come in from the engine? fill them in. Use bulb seal, like on the door of you truck, to seal cab panels to the sheetmetal of the tractor. There will be a tremendous amount of noise off the top of the transmission and the dash. Heavy rubber mat on the floor to dampen/block the noise. There is special sound insulating foam that has a layer of rubber built in. Consider this to cover the console to block sound from that source. Finally every surface on the inside of the cab should be coated with sound insulation foam. This "traps" airbrone sound energy and keeps it from bouncing around the inside of the cab. Other posters have have listed some good sources for pre cut kits. One final thing to try. Experiment with raising the height of your exhaust pipe. Get that sound source as far away from the cab as possible. Good luck, hope this helped John
