Catagory 3 is a rating based on the torque the driveline can handle and is changed by using different sized shafts and yolks and universals. It is an american made woods 20ft batwing, old model. It is a 3 joint drive line, 2 pieces. Runs at 540 rpms. There is not much angle in the vertical plane, that can be chanced with the placement of the carrier bearing, which on my 7000, when raised some, helps some, but still has quite a bit rattling at times. I understnad about equal angular drivelines in how it is supposed to put equal angles on each u joint, therefore canceling out the vibrations. Mine however tends to bend at the rear joint more on my tractor, but is even on the fords. Only a 1 inch difference is what I need, but not sure how to fix that, as the next hole is 16 inch or like 8 or 9 inch on the drawbar. I will try to work with it some this summer again. Maybe it is not on the drawbar well enough since woods uses the ball on a single clevis for a hitch pin, meaning the tractor needs the 2 clevis set up... I will have to check that out. Hurst
