Tweeter Lots of possibilities on engine here. If 6 cyl could be IH own DT466, Cummins L10, or even Detroit 6-71.If V-8 most likely IH 9 liter. Worked in school bus shop that ran about 50 with 9 liters spinning Alison slush trans in them. Only lost 1 eng while i was working there. Turned out to be a bad drum of oil, Shell Oil paid for the engine replacement. If it was a township plow truck, it most likely had a dump box, so PTO, or even pump might still be there. Maybe even can add box using existing mounting holes in frame. Tough trucks, but nothing luxurious. The S cab came out in about 75 or 76. Plow trucks usually have doubled frame rails. HTH Willie J
