I also have a 79 Ford with the 302 but with the
5 speed and use it for wood hauling and
snowplowing. That control modual is the
usual problem. Some last for years and
others for weeks. I try to keep a spare in the
truck. Disconect battery before changing the
modual seems to make them last longer.
