Hey ya Mark. You"re the second person I"ve heard using ATF, but never heard of using Marvel. Ran into a guy years ago that added a quart of ATF per every 100 gallons, so your 1/2 quart per 50 or so lines up. He swore it kept the injectors clean. I wonder about wax preventing though, and if it doesn"t, will it play nice with P/S or Howes. And by the way, didn"t fire them up before headed back to work in IL. Had things that had to get done for others. Is ok, are family and the tractors will still be in the barn next weekend when I get home. Am sure are going to struggle. Worst case, will put kerosene heaters between them. I"ve done it before. One degree in the barn today. Mark

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
