If your having to add extra hydralic fluid to compensate for your problem, it sounds to me that you have some restriction or flow issues. Try to replace any filters in the system and make sure that you don't have any gunk or dirt build-up in the system. If this isn't the problem, you may need to flow test the system and get some professional help. Sorry to say that, but as my name implies, anything but green is against my religion so I really don't know that much about your situation.
