Coloken, Mine has been in since May of 2003. Just had my 6 month check up on my ICD. Gas gauge check 90% yet on Battery life. So I must be doing something right. I was told they only last 4 to 5 years that if they don"t get used. My neighbor had one and was telling me he keep hearing a faint beeping noise coming from his chest area. His wife said she couldn"t hear any beeping noises. Come to find out later it was coming from the ICD. The battery was low and was needing a complete implant for a new one. I about fell over when he told the cost for this. "$30,000." Should have a life time warranty for that price! Hope everything checked out ok for you today? Take Care! Mike
