....Up until 1999 there was an 826 Farmall gas Hydro in this area. It was equipped with the Custom cab, and the 2000 loader. The tractor was used on a vegetable farm, and was the prime mover. The cab was purchased as the farmer did snow. Apparently was a VERY thirsty rig, about 6 hours of snow per tank of gas. This tractor had the 301 sleeveless mill, turning at 2500+ RPM. I would guess about 2500 to 3000 hours per overhaul. When it was traded for a DIESEL ( wonder why???? ), the tractor brought $2200 at a dealer auction, not running, and the auctioneer said that the Hydro also needed work........Just do not pay too much, nor expect to have too much free money to buy beer after quenching it's thirst, but as long as you have compression and gasoline, watchout!!!!!!!!!...QR..
