Hi Julie, Most folks in-the-know that post replies to questions on the tractor board about Select-O-speed trannys say stay away from them.
I have a 71 Ford 3000 with a 8 speed tranny so I can't say first hand about the S-O-S but if I was in the market I would keep looking.
