Yes, Earl; St Therese, former GM plant. It is all razed and now the land is being converted to a housing project. Too bad to see this happen. I pass by every time I go to Montreal. You were in a very rich IH land back in the 50s and 60s. A lot of dairy and veggie farms, and there was 7 dealers in those years, each not more than 15 miles apart. Only one left. This one started in the early 40s, his sons took over, and then sold out upon retirement. Another dealer took over. Doing a so-so job. Seems like when strangers come in they try and change the locals rather than adapt to local ways. Anyway, ag is going down in a big way here. The new Farmalls and light commercial will soon be the majority of business. You must have liked the highway 15 and 40 interchange.....Too bad we did not know each other when you were driving....just think of the fun (trouble) we could have had.... QR..

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
