Yes, better trees than in a developers hands, I can't reiterate that enough, we have 5 huge developments on the table,including a superwalmarts, and we already have one less than a mile from where the new one is proposed. All proposals are for zoning variance approvals to change from agriculural to residential or whatever they call it, with the potential for more developments, our entire town is at the threshold of being taken over. I wish there was an answer that could work financially and keep suburbia out and some kind of agriculture in, don't seem likely though. Interesting question, would love to add to it, and for what purpose, tillage, harvest, baling, chores, loader work, does everyone prefer their choice of tractor for, that may complicate things too much though ! I can't answer for the big HP ones, but I've always liked smaller utility size but close to 50 HP or a little more, Ford hundred and thousand series, JD industrial models 301, and up, I.H., M-F, M-M, Oliver and so many others in that size range, it does seem anything from the mid-late 50's to early 70's was good, more a preference thing than a quality thing.
