If you are talking most horsepower for the $$ spent, then it's got to be the Allis D-19, both gas and diesel in most areas of the country. About 70 hp for $2000 in a gas tractor or $3500 in a diesel tractor. About $28 per horsepower in gas and $50 per horsepower in diesel. In a few parts of the country some Olivers might be in the running, but I don't think anything else will get close to that on a regular basis. A 4020 Deere can cost you $100 per horspower pretty regularly from what I see. Good tractor though, you can't argue with that.
