In 1956 my late uncle bought a new Fordson Major Diesel tractor. Whwe he retired from his 45 acre farm in 1993 at the age of 92 I bought his tractor. It is in good original condition and i want to leave it like it is to keep his memory. In 1979 his neighbouring farmer bought a new MF 178 tractor and one day we called to see it working. When his neighbour got to the end of his run he lifted the cultivator and stoped the engine on the MF178. My uncle whent to talk to him and at the same time leaned on the lifted cultivator. His neighbour said do not lean on it Harold as it will sink down now I have stoped the engine to wich my uncle repied will it Charlie because my old Fordson stops up all day and night. MJ
