My knowledge of these things is only related to what I've read, but it looks to me like you have a Roadless tractor. Roadless used the Ford 5000 platform for their own FWA conversion. Based on the numbers you provided, I think 0B12 is the Ford unit code, and there *should* be another letter after that 12; either an A, B, or C according to the shift on which it was assembled. The build date should be (based on this) 12th of February, 1970. Being a 1970, the 5000 *should* have had the 256 cid engine. The 256 was introduced mid '68. The turbo? Mabey Roadless added the turbo. Mabey the owner did. I'm not up on Roadless. If you do go into the engine for a major overhaul, it would be a good idea to update to the turbo components for the later 256's from the 7000.. HTH. Rod
