Like the others have said, wished I could help you out, but I think Kansas is a little too far north. Who is the sponser of your troop? Our troop is sponsered by the Methodist Church. When we went to Colorado, we made arrangements with a Methodist Church in Garden City to lay over for the night, both going out and coming home. Maybe your sponser's organization has a branch/chapter/ect. in that area that you could contact. It's a thought. Also liked the comment of making a network of folks willing to allow stopovers at their place. Other non tractor sites that I frequent have a list of membership and whether they are willing to board folks passing through. Would be able to meet some good people that are of like mind as well as saving a few bucks on hotel or camper hookup fees.
