ot 88 gmc 2500?

i am lookin at a 1988 gmc 2500 with a 350 4x4 and an automatic dual exahust and power windows and doors its got 266k on it and the guy wants $500 for it runs and drives what do yall think? this will be used to get me to school and work and have the occational load of wood in the back and a 7x9 landscape trailer for my lawn tractors and landscapeing equiptment
