Jim, I don't recall calling anybody names, just calling it like I see it. You say you are in the trucking business, then you must have seen the FEMA trailers going from GA to LA for over $6.00/mile to the truck and FEMA offering flatbeds and dump trucks $150/hr to haul trash in some cases. Who is doing this? Not my imagination, I was offered that kind of freight in the wake of the disaster. I didn't take it because it smacked of corrupt billing to me, but that's another story. Honestly, I didn't mean to offend anybody, but on the other hand, I have about heard my fill of those who would use this as political ammunition to advance either agenda. Every way we turn today we can find reason to point fingers, and people seem to want to perpetuate this divisive tide. Personally, I wish we could recapture some national pride, restore some unity, and get on with the business of addressing the real issues that endanger our future. You know what, this is not a political forum, and I am on a soap box here. I apologize, however I love my country for the way it used to be, and can be again. But the more I see and hear these days, I fear it may never be again. For those who think I was calling names, you are mistaken. I simply called a spade a spade. Anyhow, I am running late. See ya. Mike

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
