Hi Gary, What I would do is take the time to photograph what you have for sale, side and bottom view with deminsions, then pay to get a on-line appraisel to see if you have something "special". This way you can contact a well known apprasier to make sure you don't get ripped localy. From playing with antique clocks and pocket watchs, you want to seperate the better items for individual sale, and or group the common stuff. If your in a hurry for a sale, expect to get burned big time on price. I would think e-bag would be the worst place for this type of sale and I hate auctions but at a good auction with quality items, you can make a killing. The cream of the collection will always bring a higher price from a private collector. You just need to find that buyer or if you have a rare piece the buyer will find you :) T_Bone
