I am the chief of a volunteer fire dept. in the northeast part of Arkansas. It is a municipal dept for a town of about 360. we also cover about 130 sq miles of rural area. Two stations, nine apparatus and 20 volunteers. We make about 100-120 First Responder calls and 40 fire calls a year. One of my sons is also on the department. We are about to start construction on a new station. Will be 50X100 with five bays. Boy, will we ever have the big head once we move into that. It's been a long time in the making. Stay safe.
