If "non wet clutch" oil which is cheaper has been added to the trans/hydraulic system. Odds are she's on her last legs. The incompatable oil softens the wet clutch/brake facings like oil on a rubber tire. The facings flake off and steel to steel contact occurs. This wrecks the pto clutch/brake, trans high/low clutch pack and the brakes. Pull the trans pump pre-screen and the paper filter and see if they are full of fiber and/or metal cuttings. It could be just lots of hours with a bit of dirt and water in 20-30 year old that has worn the pump(s).
