I'm not familiar with that G193 but if it drives off the camshaft maybe you got a bad cam or cam bearings going out? If off oil pump drive maybe a pump going bad? Try these for more continental info.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
