Crossbow is an excellent product for woody plants and trees. It will flat knock those briars down for you.I have a 25 gallon tank on the top of my spray coupe with a nozzle on one end of the boom.I use Crossbow in it.Its the nuts for cleaning up fence rows, but for best results on trees spray in the fall.Trees are perennials and they take nutrients down to their roots in the fall.Spraying at that time will kill the roots as well.Spraying any other time will only kill the top growth, but briars are a lot easier to kill in the spring or summer with Crossbow.Hyvar is another good woody plant herbicide, but I like Crossbow better.
