Many mower-conditioners use a pump that slides over the tractor's PTO and delivers oil back to a motor that operates the conditioner. If you could find a bashed-up conditioner that has a working pump and motor, you could use them for the uses you mention. Typically, the mower conditioner's hitch tongue serves as the hydraulic oil reservoir, which has a lot of oil capacity, and a lot of exposed surface area to radiate heat. For your application, you would likely need an oil cooler.
