Harold, I have a a fairly early 48' Cub with the hydraulic lift. It is serial number 27666. That makes it in the 16,318th built out of 46,483 IH built that year. So I think along the terms of my theory before is that the hydraulic lift came out with the early production models of 48'. just my two cents worth. Bill {Antique Acres}
