Some rare tractors are rare because they have very limited utility. Tractors like HIGH CROPS for example. If you are growing tomatos or gladolias you might want one. Since there aren't all that many farmers growing the very specialized ctops, not too many were built. The trouble with a gas hydro 826 is that by the time the gas 826 came along diesel was very predominate and the hydro transmission was also a limiting factor. At that time, a tractor of an 826's size was considered a "big field tractor" which you used for heavy tillage---something a hydro could do, but not very well.
