Reminds me of the old movie,"Oklahoma" made back in the 50s.The movie makers planted and grew several acres of corn at 6,000 feet in the desert(Nevada,I believe) for the movie.They had to truck a lot of water up to the "field"and they had "corn as high as an elephants eye" for old Curly to ride through,just like in the song.Looking back,it would seem they could have done it a lot cheaper by filming that part in Iowa?
