No, not the four legged kind, the commercial mower kind, a T18B to be specific. This model is a zero clearance hydrostatic drive type with a 5 foot mower deck mounted on the front. There is a drive shaft between the motor and the hydrostatic transmission that has what are called flex plates on either end. Seems to be a cheap way to avoid universal joints. One of the 3/8 bolts that hold the flex plate to the motor crank output fell out and caused both flex plates to break and the drive shaft to fall out. The "tractor" is now sitting on the hill after I was fortunate enough to steer it into a fence to stop it's free rolling reverse motion. I can't tow it up because they say you can't tow a hydrostatic drive without ruining it. Is there a way to do this or will I have to repair it in place and drive it back out?
