I'm looking for a generic source for rod bolts. I want something that exceeds 200,000 PSI. ARP sells them but does not list by size, only application - and they don't list tractors. Specifically, I want rod-bolts for my AC HD4 crawler with a D2200 diesel engine. 3/8" X 24 X 2" long. McNaster sells flange-head Grade 9 bolts that are 170,000 PSI and that's the best I've found so far. Seems somebody must sell grade 10 or better by size. If I could buy the bolts OEM, they are $10 apiece, which is rediculous. And, the only OEM bolts I find listed are for the later version of the D2200 engine, which is called a 433I (turbo and intercooled). Used in the AC 6080 ag. tractor. No size listed, so I have no idea if it's the same size.
