If your 6v system is working ok, why change it??? A properly operating 6v system is every bit as good and reliable as a 12v system. 6v batteries are still very available. This is a question that is bantered around the Model T and Model A Ford forums alot. I personally see no reason to change a vehicle of any kind to 12v. However you will be sure to generate (no pun) a lot of discussion with the question.
