The floor is indeed wood. I put down landscape cloth and wire mesh to keep out the gophers. Gravel on top of that. There are 2" thick concrete blocks. PT 4X4 timbers on top of that. The floor frame is on top of these, and is built with PT 2X6, at 1 foot intervals. Then a layer of 1/2" PT plywood, then another layer of 1/2 plywood. On top of all this, I put some old sheets of plywood/siding under the tractor to catch the mud. It's built sturdy, thanks to the Marion County permit people:-) Joe
