Know how you feel. We used to farm seven farms. One is now a golf course; one a housing development; one a Wal-Mart, Super K, Lowe's & Home depot complex. From our home farm we see the lights of town as it spreads our way. In 1965, four traffic lights would get you through town- now it takes 15. Almost dread taking a haybine between the two farms left-cars heading to the malls want me off the road; have found myself waving back with a distorted hand. Empty house on 7 acres joins our back 40 here in s.w.Pa. owned by a holding company in Calif.! House is not in view of any other house. Very long lane, however.
