The problem with blight is that it stays in the soil. Crop rotation is the key. Also, dont plant maters and peppers close to tators. Overhead watering is also a big soarce of blight. We went to a soaker, drip watering set up 2 years ago. It can get costly on a large garden but worth it in water savings(our old well aint in the best shape anymore) and diesies problems. For blight spay with Funginal and or Manapp(sp?). My wife and I are both in the nursery/landscape bus. and use the same soil to start our seeds at home as the folks who supply our bedding plants at work and still have blight so I dont see any benifits of spend $ on commmercialy grown plants.
