I wish you well in your search for the good life in rural America. You are welcome here in Kansas but I must warn you that the taxes are so high that you must either live in a tent or bring a boat load of money with you. The penalty for owning a modern convienence (a.k.a. taxes) in this state is outragous! I've lived in several states and Kansas is the most stupid (not the people but the government) and the taxes are the highest. Something to consider when moving to a different state.
