I changes from narrow to wide front. The wide front steers and rides better. Not near as much bounce. If the front wheel hits a hole, the front only goes down half a much. You can also see where your tires are running. It still turns just a fast as the narrow did.
Wide fronts are better for raking and cutting since you don"t have to drive on top of the windrow.
If you like the narrow front, go for it. It"s your tractor.
