I was in a town in extreme northeast Montana some years ago, and came upon the grounds of the Whatever-the-name-of-the-place-is Threshermans Association. Many nice tractors in buildings, many more in various states in the "boneyard". I took the self-guided boneyard tour, came across several likely resto candidates, including a nearly complete MM GB diesel. I talked to the curator about buying something, and he said they don't sell much, but love to trade. When he found out where I was from, he said if I could round up a JD L or LA, he would trade straight across for the GBD, or it would go a long way toward about anything I wanted around there. Seemed funny, because the L is so small even WE don't take 'em seriously!
