Chains will not help other then in snow and then still not much with out the fluid. Figure each tire filled with fluid that the fluid will add 100-400 LBS depending on the size of the tire. Yes you can drain it and then fill it with air but if it where me I would leave the fluid in. It still has to have air in it also about 10-15psi per tire
