The one farm that i rented for awhile had CopperHeads and water mocsans down by the creek the old friend that owned the place always told me never go down to the farm with out a gun and also told me that ( that if ya ain't a good shot with a pistol then carrie a shotgun . the first spring while plowen one field next to one of the old spoil banks i pulled up part of and old dead tree and a whole nest of baby copper heads that did not last long under the back tire of the tractor and shot about 11 big copperheads . If ya just had to use the old out house ya looked real good before ya sat down.
