Sounds like you are pretty much un-informed about trailers. You need to do a lot of research before buying any trailer. I think you will find that mobile home axles are not always acceptable, and the tire size used on those axles is sometimes very hard to find. Most states require brakes on all axles, not just one. As a final comment, before buying, check out the prices on brand new trailers, you may be pleasantly surprised, and you may also find that the asking price of the used trailer is way too high. I don't mean to be picking on you, but if I am going to be sharing the road with your truck and trailer, I want to be sure that your rig is up to the task.
