I would consider that she has paid for herself after she has 2 more GOOD calves. That brings up the question about the quality of calves she has had before, if you can get that info it will be helpful.
Cows are individuals and if you get them I would watch their condition each year, looking for a reason to sell them. 12-15 years old is about the life of a cow when she is producing good calves.
